In the third quarter of 2024, the top photo and video applications in Ireland demonstrated diverse performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

CapCut - Video Editor saw a remarkable rise in weekly revenue, starting at around $7.7K in early July and climbing steadily to approximately $12.9K by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked at about 10.1K in the last week of the quarter, while active users increased from 208K to nearly 231K over the same period.

Instagram maintained a consistent revenue stream, fluctuating between $8.2K and $12.1K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 6K per week, with active users reaching a high of approximately 1.4M by the end of September.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream generated significant revenue, starting at $66.3K and reaching a peak of $75.7K in early September. Despite lower download numbers, usually around 2.9K weekly, the app consistently engaged over 3M active users.

Snapchat experienced a steady increase in revenue, escalating from $48.3K to a high of $63.1K by late September. Downloads saw a modest decline, averaging around 5K weekly, while active users remained strong, fluctuating around 1.1M.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor showed a positive revenue trend, beginning at $14.3K and ending the quarter at approximately $17.8K. Downloads increased toward the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 4.6K, and active user numbers rose from 35.6K to 40.9K.
